Technomat 100-16

The DM2 Technomat 100-16 is a new-build rotary transfer machine manufactured by DM2 Transfer of Brescia, Italy and supplied in North America by Revolution Machine Works. Unlike the rebuilt and CNC-converted machines in the RMW range, the Technomat is a modern machine from the ground up: a cast-iron, stress-relieved base with Hirth-ring indexing for high accuracy and rigidity, and Fanuc-controlled CNC machining units. It handles parts up to 100 mm round, 95 mm hex, or 90 mm square at part lengths to 200 mm, across 16 horizontal and 8 vertical stations, indexing every 0.9 seconds at 20,000 lb. The Technomat is built around flexibility — quick-change HSK tooling, milling and multi-spindle heads, Hainbuch collets, tool monitoring, and optional robot load/unload — with 1–5 axis machining units available in DM2 40/90, 55/120, and 55/200 sizes. Its oversized spindle bearings and longer stroke capacity are engineered for increased accuracy and rigidity on both light and heavy-duty machining. It is the largest-capacity machine AMT offers in the RMW range, for shops standing up new high-volume production of larger parts.
