Why Choose Revolution Machine Works Rotary Transfer Machines?

Three ways to get rotary-transfer capacity

A traditional turnkey rebuild, a CNC-converted Servomat, or a new Italian-built DM2 Technomat — one supplier covers the full range from a like-new cam machine to a fully programmable Fanuc CNC transfer machine, so you buy exactly the capability the job needs.

Remanufactured to OEM specification

Rebuilt Hydromats start from a proven Hydromat casting and table, with every unit, valve, drive, and control rebuilt back to original specification and certified — delivering the output of a new machine at a fraction of the cost, backed by an 18-month parts-and-labour warranty.

Modern CNC conversion

RMW was the first in the industry to fit stand-alone DM2 Fanuc CNC ballscrew units to a rebuilt Hydromat base. A Servomat replaces cam-and-hydraulic actuation with programmable servo axes, so changeovers that once meant new cams become a program edit.

Backed by AMT in Canada

AMT Machine Tools provides pre-sale application consultation, installation, and after-sale support for every RMW machine sold in Canada. You are working with a Canadian team, not sourcing a rebuild across the border unsupported.

HW 25/12 Rebuilt Hydromat Rotary Transfer Machine

The HW 25/12 is a fully remanufactured Hydromat-type rotary transfer machine rebuilt by Revolution Machine Works for high-volume production of parts up to 1 inch (25 mm) round, 7/8 inch hex, or 3/4 inch square, at part lengths to 4 inches. Twelve horizontal and six vertical tooling stations work the part simultaneously as the table indexes every 0.500 seconds, so a finished component leaves the machine on every cycle — the throughput that makes rotary transfer the fastest route to mid-complexity turned-and-milled parts in volume. RMW starts from a proven Hydromat casting and table and rebuilds every wear system — units, valves, drives, and controls — back to original specification, certified and warranted. At roughly 10,000 lb and 30 HP average draw, the HW 25/12 is the most compact machine in the rebuilt line, well suited to smaller brass and steel fittings, fasteners, and hardware where cycle time is everything. AMT Machine Tools supplies and supports the HW 25/12 across Canada. Revolution Machine Works is an expert, independent provider of Hydromat-type machine repair, rebuild, and service with no direct affiliation with Hydromat.

FAQ

Revolution Machine Works Rotary Transfer Machines Questions

Answers to common questions about our revolution machine works rotary transfer machines products.

No. Revolution Machine Works is an expert, independent provider of Hydromat-type machine repair, rebuild, and service with no direct affiliation with Hydromat. Its team includes former Hydromat OEM employees, which is the source of its rebuild expertise, but RMW is an independent company. AMT Machine Tools is the Canadian dealer for RMW's rebuilt and CNC-converted rotary transfer machines.

A rotary transfer machine holds the workpiece in an indexing table that steps it through a ring of tooling stations, each performing a different operation. Because many stations cut simultaneously and a finished part is completed every index, rotary transfer produces mid-complexity turned-and-milled parts far faster than a single-spindle lathe or machining centre — it is the process of choice for high-volume automotive, hydraulic, and hardware components.

Both start from a remanufactured Hydromat-type base. A Rebuilt Hydromat retains the original cam-and-hydraulic drive, rebuilt to OEM specification — the most cost-effective way to restore a proven machine. A Servomat replaces that drive with DM2 Fanuc-controlled CNC ballscrew units, making the machine fully programmable: changeovers become program edits rather than cam changes, and the machine can run 1–5 axis CNC operations.

The DM2 Technomat is a new-build rotary transfer machine manufactured by DM2 Transfer of Brescia, Italy. It uses cast-iron, stress-relieved bases with Hirth-ring indexing for high accuracy and rigidity, Fanuc control, and quick-change tooling. RMW supplies and supports the Technomat line in North America, and AMT offers it in Canada.

Revolution Machine Works quotes savings of up to 70% versus a new machine, with rebuilt Hydromats backed by an 18-month parts-and-labour warranty. The exact figure depends on the model and configuration; AMT can prepare a quote for your part family and volumes.

Yes. AMT Machine Tools provides sales, application consultation, installation, and after-sale support for every RMW machine sold in Canada, backed by Revolution Machine Works' parts and service.
