DM2 Technomat

The DM2 Technomat Trunnion is the highest-capability rotary transfer machine AMT offers in the RMW range — a new-build trunnion machine from DM2 Transfer of Brescia, Italy. Its trunnion layout handles a 150 × 100 × 125 mm working envelope at part lengths up to 300 mm, and it carries the most stations of any machine here: up to 28 horizontal (14 on each side) and up to 14 vertical, indexing every 0.9 seconds at 20,000 lb. That combination of long parts and very high station count lets it finish extremely complex components complete in a single machine. Like the rest of the Technomat family, it is built on a cast-iron, stress-relieved base with Hirth-ring indexing and Fanuc control, with 1–5 axis DM2 machining units and quick-change HSK and Hainbuch tooling. The trunnion configuration and dual-sided station layout make it the flagship of the DM2 line, for shops taking on the longest, most operation-dense parts under new-machine warranty.
